Amani’s breakthroughs in Spanish

Amani continues to demonstrate an improving command of spoken Spanish.

In the past couple of days, he’s started asking us (mostly to me, but once or twice to Stella and Viola, too): “¿Cómo estás? ¿Estás bien?” … or, “Are you bien?”

Plus, umprompted (mostly), he’s starting to count items aloud in Spanish. He usually skips “seis” and “siete” and often makes it only to “nueve,” but, as you might guess, I’m impressed!
